CHCA Founders’ Campus Athletic Improvements

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy

Design Challenge: CHCA needed a state-of-the-art softball field, soccer field, new grandstands, locker rooms, public restrooms, and green space to replace their former multipurpose athletic fields. The challenge was to fit all these elements within a compact area while addressing grading issues and ensuring proper field orientation. Additionally, we designed the field lighting to minimize impact on neighboring properties and prevent light spillage.

Design Solution: A master plan was created to plan out all phases of the project and provide solutions to all needs. The plan was to create multipurpose fields for all above elements, utilize synthetic sports turf, form food truck parking for large events, and partner with expert consultants to create a successful project. The architecture team created aesthetically pleasing and functional elements for the press box, restrooms facilities, locker rooms, dugouts and a storage facility for the sports fields.

Design Outcome: CHCA will have a top-of-the-line high school athletic facilities within the area, suitable for playoff and tournament sports.
