Design Challenge: The Children’s House, a provider of daycare, preschool, and kindergarten, needed a new facility for Medpace employees. After losing access to nearby childcare, Medpace engaged The Children’s House. MSP was chosen to analyze nearby properties for the best option.

Design Solution: The feasibility analysis led to choosing the old St. Paul Lutheran Church Elementary School for The Children’s House. MSP provided architectural and interior design, upgrading HVAC, structure, roof, and electrical systems. These improvements transformed the space into a state-of-the-art early childhood school.

Design Outcome: This adaptive reuse project revitalizes the unoccupied St. Paul Lutheran Church Elementary School, benefiting the church and neighborhood. This daycare next to Medpace offers employees convenient, high-quality childcare and early education. Opened in fall 2020, the facility is rapidly enrolling children to reach its 175 capacity.
