Design Challenge: Pitt Ohio is a leader in regional and national logistics services committed to improving sustainability for future generations. Our challenge for the new Pitt Ohio Cleveland Terminal was to design a state-of-the-art net zero truck terminal complex. The goal was to create an attractive, safe and efficient complex for its employees.

Design Solution: MSP designed a multi-building complex with significant renewable energy systems including solar and wind energy production. This included features such as wind turbines, over 1,500 solar panels, LED lighting, water efficiency and geothermal heating and cooling. The new Pitt Ohio Cleveland Terminal includes a facility house office, terminal, shipping, and maintenance facilities with 130 truck bays and a company picnic shelter.

Design Outcome: The project and shop have achieved LEED Gold certification. It fully supports Pitt Ohio’s focus on People, Planet, and Purpose and will serve the company for years to come and improve sustainability for future generations.
