MSP Contributes Time and Expertise to Girl Scout Camp
MSP Contributes Time and expertise to the Girl Scout Camp Whip-Poor-Will through ACI’s Workforce Development She Builds committee. During the week of July 17-21, volunteers from ACI member companies guided the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio through various STEAM activities. The activities included welding, plumbing, electrical work, and engineering projects.
A highlight of the week was the construction of a stage, which serves as a legacy project for the camp. MSP Contributes Time by having Anneke Hoskins design the stage and provide detailed construction drawings. Jan Barnhorst also spent Tuesday morning assisting with a popsicle stick bridge-building activity, introducing campers to basic engineering concepts.
This collaboration offered valuable learning experiences and built a sense of community among participants. MSP’s commitment to education and support for STEM initiatives shines through in this impactful project.
