Lou plays a key role in delivering accurate and timely survey documentation across a wide range of projects. He supports residential, commercial, and industrial work by guiding record plats from coordination through approval. Additionally, he helps ensure survey deliverables align with project goals and agency requirements. Lou began his career in the surveying industry in 1983 and brings decades of experience to MSP Design. When he joined the firm in 2018, he added that background to an already complex project environment. Over time, his responsibilities expanded to include record plats, boundary surveys, rezoning plats, and oversight of the building permits process.

Lou is a registered Professional Surveyor in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. He remains active with the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio and the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors, while completing approximately 30 hours of continuing education each year. As a result, he stays current with evolving standards, regulations, and best practices.

Outside of work, Lou enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes. He values the process of refining techniques and trying something different each day. Ultimately, that curiosity and patience mirror the way he approaches complex survey challenges.
