Danielle Hewitt,
Landscape Architecture Co-op
Danielle is a fourth year at Purdue University, pursuing a dual degree in Landscape Architecture and Spanish. As a Co-op in MSP’s Landscape Architecture department, Danielle will contribute to a range of projects including landscape design, planning, graphics work, Photoshop, and 3D rendering. She’s especially passionate about integrating her own creative ideas into designs that help clients make more environmentally conscious choices. Her favorite project so far involved restoring a wildfire-affected neighborhood in Palisades, California, where she implemented strategies like patchy planting, grazing, and controlled burns to increase fire resistance. At MSP, Danielle is excited to further develop her Photoshop skills and gain hands-on experience that brings design concepts to life.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys hiking, reading, painting, baking, and trying out new activities like swing dancing, salsa, equestrian, a cappella, and horticulture. She recently studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, where she explored the city, practiced her Spanish, and immersed herself in the local parks and architecture. She cares deeply about wildlife and environmental conservation and supports organizations like World Vision and Feed My Starving Children. With her creativity, curiosity, and environmental focus, Danielle is a welcome addition to the MSP Design team.

Danielle has two dogs, Bella and Digit, and says her personal motto is to “just enjoy life in the present.”
