Brian Jimison, PS
Vice President, Surveying
Brian began his career at MSP in 1999 as a member of our surveying field crew. He has held several roles at MSP including field crew/instrument operator, field crew chief, field crew supervisor, project manager, associate, and is currently vice president of surveying. He has led many major residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Brian is also a registered FAA Licensed UAS Pilot. In addition to overseeing field crews, Brian utilizes robotic total station, Global Positioning System (GPS), data collectors, and PC-based surveying software to collect and analyze field data as well as perform calculations required to lay out proposed improvements.
Brian is a licensed professional surveyor in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He is also a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio Southwest chapter, the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, and the Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors.
Fun Fact:
Brian and his wife built a 1,700-gallon fish pond with a waterfall in the front of their house between the sidewalk and porch. It’s home to 40 or more koi fish ranging in size from babies to 16” long.
