Position Title: Field Survey Crew Member - Rod Man/Co-op

Primary Purpose: Assist Crew Chief in field surveying operations.
Role Description: As a Field Survey Crew Member - Rod Man/Co-op you will be responsible to:
- Maintain field supplies and equipment for survey crew.
- Understand general survey procedures.
- Operate Rod, Prism Pole, etc. for measuring, grading and elevation circuits.
- Set stakes for construction layout.
- Provide accurate sight for traverse/boundary.
- Preparing survey vehicle by checking supplies, equipment, etc. prior to starting time.
- Assure that all equipment is cleaned and put away before leaving job site.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
Selected candidates must be enrolled in a Land Surveying or Survey Technician Degree, or related field, from an accredited post-secondary institution. Previous survey experience is preferred, but not necessary. Must have a good math background, ability to work well with others, take directions well, good communication skills, and desire/ability to work outdoors in various temperatures and conditions. Candidate must be physically able to navigate rugged terrain for the purpose of performing the job responsibilities described above. Candidate must pass a background check and a drug screen prior to employment.
