Milikin Road at I-75 Interchange Master Plan

Liberty Township

Design Challenge: To create additional land opportunities for economic development purposes, Liberty Township needed to create an overall land use master plan for the proposed Millikin Road Interchange on I-75. This included design concepts and graphics that communicated the overall vision of this important township corridor/district.

Design Solution: Based on input from the township, MSP utilized its in-house design and graphic capabilities to develop concepts and photorealistic renderings and fly-through animations that represent the potential land uses and densities desired by the township that match the potential market demands of the corridor. The design focused on economic development opportunities including destination facilities and attractions, mix of land uses, density, and unique public gathering spaces with a strong emphasis on pedestrian connectivity to surrounding township amenities and existing developments.

Design Outcome: MSP provided a variety of planning graphics, 3D rendering snapshots, and computer animations to assist the Township with ongoing marketing of this corridor to the development community. In addition, the graphics have been formatted to assist in applying for funding and to facilitate jurisdictional approvals.
