First Responders Park rededicated after renovation

First Responders Park was rededicated last week after a nearly year long renovation that added a quiet space for reflection.

Last week, the community proudly rededicated First Responders Park in Westerville, Ohio. Shortly after a comprehensive renovation that took nearly a year. The upgraded park now features a serene space for reflection, a solemn memorial wall dedicated to our fallen heroes, and distinctive markers honoring all first responders. MSP Landscape Architect/Associate Dan Frank and MSP generously donated design services for this meaningful project. They dedicated their efforts in tribute to Dan’s daughter-in-law’s father, Anthony Morelli. Anthony tragically lost his life in the line of duty in February 2018. We initially covered the inception of this project back in August of 2018, and it is heartening to see it come to fruition, serving as a lasting tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our first responders.
