Beavercreek holds ribbon cutting for Wartinger Barn

MSP Logo

The City of Beavercreek held a ribbon cutting for Wartinger Barn, a replica of a 150-year-old historic barn destroyed by a tornado in 2019.  MSP architects worked in collaboration with the city and historical society to maintain the integrity of the former barn design. The new barn has a modern foundation that will provide stability and opportunity for future expansion.

The barn is located in Wartinger Park and displays artifacts from 19th century Beavercreek to give visitors a glimpse of what farm life was like. It will be used for education programs and other events. A possible future expansion could include a kitchen and restrooms to host larger events.
